I was so honored to be given the opportunity to help Marie with her sister-in-law's baby shower. The Havran and Wink families were incredibly warm and inviting, and you could just feel the love from everywhere all afternoon! We used the mommy-to-be's favorite baby book as our inspiration and just had a blast with the details.
Her invitations opened up like a little book

Baby mad libs for each place setting
A sign for the front door
Check out the table spread! The love is in the details. We tried to incorporate as much of the book as possible.
The banner for behind Lisa while she was opening her presents read "Over the moon for baby Wink!"
And a big red balloon!
We had a table set up in the entrance for guests to pick the gender they thought baby was going to be and also to pick an envelope with a number on it, labels 1-20. In the envelope they were asked to leave some words of advice for the year of baby's life that matched their number. Baby Wink will have envelopes to read every birthday from his momma's friends and family until he can legally drink, how cool is that?
I just LOVE that birthday card idea!!!! Keep it up, slick!
ReplyDeleteAny chance you'd share the PDFs? I would be so extremely grateful. I have a sweet friend having a baby alone and this will be the perfect shower theme for her as a pre k teacher.
ReplyDeleteThank you for contacting me! I would be delighted to send you the link to my Etsy shop. There you can get the PDF printable or the hard copy if you prefer! :)
